1qt garlic puree
5 bay leaves
1/2 oz Cumin
1 bunch of clery - chopped
4 whole yellow onions
2Tbs garlic powder
2Tbs onion powder
Zataran's Season Salt
liquid smoke
2lbs of dried red beans

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients, except beans, in a large pot filled with water. Bring to a boil for 1 hour, turn off the pot, strain the water saving water. Add the beans and let them soak for 12 hours, return the heat and cook slowly covered stirring occassionally untill the beans began to break down and make gravy. Add salt port, sausage or meat of your liking
