1 cup butter (2 sticks)
tsp. salt
1 can Applesauce (15 oz.)
cup sugar
Grated rind of one lemon
1 tsp. cinnamon
3 egg yolks
3 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Mix softened butter and sugar. Add egg yolks, salt, and grated rind of lemon. Fold in flour. Divide into halves. Press onto bottom of greased 13x9 baking dish. Mix cinnamon with applesauce and spread over dough in pan. Crumble other half of dough over applesauce. Bake for 35-40 minutes at 325. Cool. Cut in squares.
