3 eggs
1 cup sugar
1/8 tsp salt
1/2 cup dark syrup (may use light syrup also)
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup pecans
1/4 cup butter (melted)

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs, add syrup, sugar, salt, and vanilla. Stir ingredients together. Add melted butter. Mix together very well. Add pecans and pour into and unbaked pie shell. Bake in a 350º oven for 50 minutes.

This pie is best served warm with ice cream or whipped cream. When I found out I was pregnant with my first child I went to a drug store and ordered this pie. Perhaps that is why it is a favorite of mine
