2 Tbs. olive oil
1 cup minced onion
6 cloves garlic, minced
3 small. tomatoes, peeled and chopped
3 Tbs. fresh/1 Tbs. dry oregano
3 Tbs. fresh/1 Tbs. dry basil
1/2 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
6-oz. can tomato paste

Directions:
Directions:
In a large skillet, sauté onions and garlic in oil over medium heat. Add the tomatoes, oregano, basil, sugar, salt, pepper, and tomato paste. Stir to combine and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and cool. Spoon into 1-cup containers and freeze.
