3 c. flour
3 c. diced raw apples (tart)
3 eggs
2 c. sugar
1 cup crisco oil
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2-1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg (optional)
1 tsp vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans
Raisins or dried cranberries

Optional sauce to be drizzled on warm cake.

1 c. light brown sugar
1/4 c. butter or margarine
1/4 c. milk

Boil until foamy then spoon on cake.

Beat eggs, add sugar and beat until frothy. Add oil and vanilla. Sift flour, soda, salt, baking powder. Add to mixture and stir. Add apples, nuts and fruit. Mix with spoon. ( Batter will be stiff.) Bake in Bundt or tube pan that has been greased and floured at 375 F. for @ 45 or 50 minutes (or until toothpick comes out clean).
