1 box cake mix (whatever flavor you want, I use strawberry or raspberry flavor)
1 medium can crushed pineapple (unsweetened)
1 medium jar chunky applesauce (unsweetened)
1 cup melted butter or margerine
11/2 - 2 cups crushed walnuts
1 container Cool Whip© (Lite or Regular)

Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º. Spray a 9X2X13 inch pan with cooking Spray. Empty contents of chunky applesauce into pan, spread evenly throughout the pan. Pour crushed pineapple into pan; spread evenly (DO NOT MIX). Distribute dry cake mix evenly into the pan. Pour melted butter over pan evenly. Sprinkle nuts evenly. Bake at 375 for one hour. Let cool COMPLETELY. Top with Cool Whip©. ENJOY!
