2 cups raisins
1 cup water
1 cup butter
2 cups brown sugar
3 eggs
3 cups flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. allspice
1 1/2 tsps. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Combine raisins and water in a saucepan and boil for 5 minutes. Cool. Cream butter, sugar,and eggs. Add raisins and remaining ingredients. Drop by teaspoons onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 400F for 12 - 14 minutes.
