1 lb firm fish fillets (halibut is best), cut into 2 inch cubes
1/2 lb shrimp
1 can clams
2 cups peeled and cubed potatoes
1/2 tsp thyme
2 tsp salt
pepper to taste
6 slices bacon
1 cup chopped onion
2 cups milk
3 tsp flour

Directions:
Directions:
Cook bacon until crisp. Drain and crumble, reserve drippings. Cook onion in bacon drippings until transparent, drain fat. Cook potatoes in 2 cups water for 5 minutes. Add fish, salt and pepper. Simmer covered for 10 to 12 minutes longer. Add bacon and onion to fish mixture. Slowly blend milk into flour and add to chowder. Cook, stirring constanly until thickened.

You can add whatever kind of seafood you like. We added the shrimp and clams. Feel free to adjust amounts of anything. It's delicious!
