1 12oz pkg Llight or regular Ground turkey and pork sausage
2 14 1/2 oz cans Chicken broth
1 15 oz can Black beans, rinsed and drained
1 14 oz can Golden hominy, rinsed and drained
1 14 oz can Mexican style stewed tomatoes
1 cup frozen loose pack diced hash brown potatoes
1/2 cup chopped Green sweet pepper
1/3 cup chopped Onion
1 clove garlic, Minced
1/2 tsp Chili powder
1 tsp dried Oregano, crushed

In large saucepan brown sausage, drain off fat. Stir in all the rest of the ingredience. Bring to a boil, reduce and simmer covered for 30 minutes.

This is one of our favorites. Everyone that I have given the recipe too has loved it and it's very easy and quick. My sister in law is from New Mexico and they are used to the traditional Posole and her family loves this version. I usually add an extra can of kidney or other bean in addition to the black beans and sometimes serve it with corn bread.
