¾ c. - shortening OR Wesson oil
1½ tsp. - cinnamon
¾ c. - molasses
½ tsp. - soda
2 - eggs
½ c. - milk
2¼ c. - sifted flour
½ c. - seedless raisins
4 tsp. - baking powder
½ c. - chopped nuts
½ tsp. - salt

Directions:
Directions:
Slowly melt shortening or oil. Cool. Add molasses and eggs; beat well. Sift flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and soda. Add alternately with milk to first mixture. Add raisins and nuts. Drop by teaspoon on greased baking sheet. Bake at 425º for 8 to 10 minutes.
