1/2 C sugar
1/2 C soy sauce
1/3 C japanese rice vinegar
1 T sesame oil
2 T vegetable oil

1 16 oz. pkg somen noodles-boiled, drained and cooled
1 head iceberg lettuce-shredded
1 english cucumber-julienne slivered
3 eggs-scrambled, fried, julienne slivered
1/2 lb chinese barbeque pork-julienne slivered
(optional: 1 pink/white kamaboko fish cake-julienne slivered)
3 stalks green onion-cut at angle
4 T toasted white sesame seeds

Mix dressing ingredients in a bottle, shake until sugar dissolved.

In a large flat serving platter with at least 1" rim, layer ingredients:
somen noodles on the bottom
then lettuce followed by cucumber then eggs, then pork, then green onions then sesame seeds.

Drizzle dressing on just before serving.
