1 c shortening
3/4 c sugar
1/2 c brown sugar, firmly packed
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2 1/4 c flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 c semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 c butterscotch chips

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening until light and fluffy. Beat in sugars until light and creamy. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Beat in vanilla. Sift flour, salt and baking soda together. Stir in dry ingredients or beat in on low speed of mixer. Do not overbeat. Stir in chips. Drop onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake in a 350 oven about 10 minutes or until cookies are an even golden color.
