Ingredients: * 1 box German chocolate cake mix * water,vegetable oil,eggs as called for on cake box * 1 {14 ounce} can sweetened condensed milk * 1 squeeze bottle caramel dessert topping * 1 {8 ounce} container Cool Whip * 8 ounces chocolate covered toffee chips

Directions:*Heat oven to 350. *Make & bake cake as directed on the box. { use the 13x9" pan recipe } *Cool for 15 minutes. *Poke the top of the cake every 1/2 inch with the round handle of a wooden spoon. *Drizzle the sweetened milk evenly over the top;let it stand until the milk is absorbed. *Drizzle the cake with the caramel topping. *Run a butter knife around the sides to loosen the cake. *Cover & refrigerate about 2 hours. *Spread the Cool Whip evenly over the top. {a rubber spatula works great for this} *Sprinkle with the toffee chips. *Store covered in the 'fridge. |
