1 cup shortening (part butter)
1 1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 cups sifted flour
2 tsp. cream of tarter
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix thoroughly the shortening, sugar and eggs. Sift together and stir in flour, cream of tarter, baking soda, salt.
Roll into balls the size of a small walnut. Roll in mixture of 2 Tbsp sugar and 2 tsp cinnamon. Put 2" apart on ungreased baking sheet. Bake until lightly browned, but still soft. Bake at 400º for 8-10 minutes.
