6 double-thick pork chops
1/4 cups butter
1 tbsp. chopped onion
3 cups soft bread cubes
1/2 cups chopped celery
2 tsp. chopped parsley
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in saucepan. Add onion and saute until lightly browned. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Slit double thick chops from outer edge to bone to make a pocket. Sprinkle chops with salt and pepper inside and out. stuff loosely with dressing mixture. Brown in fat, in skillet on both sides 15-20 minutes. Bake covered, in greased baking dish in moderate oven(350 degrees) for 45 min. Then uncover and bake 15 min. longer, or until chops are tender.
