½ c. Butter or Margarine, soft
1 c. Sugar
2 Eggs
1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
2 c. all-purpose Flour
1 tsp. Baking Soda
½ tsp. Salt
1 c. Mashed Ripe Bananas
1 c.Flaked Coconut
1 c. (6 oz) semisweet Choc Chips
2/3 c. Sliced Almonds, divided
½ c.Chopped Cherries
½ c. Chopped Dates
1 can (11 oz.) mandarin oranges, drained

Directions:
Directions:
In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Combine the flour, baking soda and salt: add to the creamed mixture alternating with bananas. Stir in the oranges, coconut, chocolate chips, ½ cup almonds, cherries and dates.

Pour into greased 8x4x2 loaf, Sprinkle with remaining. Bake 350* for 50-55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes outc lean. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pans to wire racks to cool completely.
