1/2 cup of butter
1/2 cup of shortening
2 eggs, unbeaten
1 tsp of vanilla
1 tsp of soda
1 cup of sugar
1/2 cup of brown sugar
2 tbsp of water
3 cups of sifted flour
solid chocolate mint wafer
Directions:
Directions:
Cream together the butter & shortening. Add the sugar and brown sugar. Mix throughly.
Add eggs, unbeaten, water and vanilla. Mix well. Blend in sifted flour, soda and salt. Chill for 2 hours. Enclose a chocolate mint wafer in tsp. of dough. Bake at 375 for 10-12 minutes
