6 large potatoes, peeled and diced
2 Tbs butter
1/2 cup onion, diced
1/2 cup celery, diced
4 Tbsp flour
2 cups cooked ham, diced
3 cups water
1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp paprika
3 cups milk

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in a large, heavy bottomed saucepan. Add onion and celery and saute over medium heat until tender. Add potatoes, water, salt, pepper and paprika, cover and simmer until potatoes are tender. In a separate bowl combine flour and a small amount of water into a paste. Add to soup. Then add milk and cook until thick, stirring constantly. Stir in ham and heat through. Sprinkle with croutons.
