3 c. chopped parsnips
2 c. chopped carrots
1 c. chopped onion
5 c. water
1-1/2 lbs smoked ham hocks
2 garlic gloves, minced
2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/8 to 1/4 tsp hot pepper sauce
1-1/2 c. dry great northern beans, soaked overnite
Directions:
Directions:
Use a 5 qt. pot, place parsnips, carrots, and onion. Top with beans. Add water, ham, garlic, salt, pepper and hot sauce. Cook on high until tender.
