2 c. drained whole kernel corn
1 beaten egg
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. oleo
1/4 c. flour
1/3 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 tsp. chopped jalapeno peppers

Directions:
Directions:
Combine corn, egg, sugar, salt, pepper, and oleo. Sift baking powder and flour and add. heat oil in skillet; drop corn bread mixture by spoonful. Brown on both sides, turning only once.
