1 bag frozen sweet white corn (I use Trader Joe's)
1/3 cup sugar *
1/4 cup flour
1/4 stick butter (salted)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

* Note: Taste corn, if very sweet, cut back on amount of sugar.

In a mixing bowl, mix corn with sugar to coat. Sprinkle flour in. Add about 1/2 teaspoon of salt and a couple shakes (1/4 teaspoon) of pepper. Beat 1 egg with 1 cup of whole milk. If not loose enough add a bit more milk. Put in a greased 8x8 baking dish. Dot with butter. Bake at 350 degrees until set or until a table knife inserted in the center comes out clean.

Note: Mom never used a recipe. She always used fresh Silver Queen corn from the field to make corn pudding.
