6 C Flour
2 packages Yeast
3 T sugar
3 T shortening
1 T salt
2 cups lukewarm water

Directions:
Directions:
Mix dry ingredients in large bowl. Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water. Add mixture to dry ingredients in the large bowl. Rub shortening around the inside of the large bowl and work into dough. Cover with a towel and let rise until double in size. Punch down and divide into two halves. Shape into loaves. Place into bread pans and let rise again. Bake at 375º-400º until golden brown and they sound hollow when thumped. Brush top with butter/margarine.
