1 pkg. Thick Sliced Bacon
2 lengths of Winkler Sausage
3 c. whole wheat flour
2 c. white flour
1 1/2 cups brown sugar (less)
salt
heaping t. soda
3 eggs
1 rounding T. lard
anise oil or seed (as desired)
Make sure its anise oil not flavouring

Directions:
Directions:
Cut Bacon and sausage to small pieces. Fry till just done
Mix dry ingredients
Mix with buttermilk or sour milk.(to the right consitancy for thick pancake dough)
Add smoked sausage and bacon. (few drops anise to half the batter)
(May also use white sugar and corn syrup.)
Serve with pancake syrup
