1¾ cups sugar
1 scant cup butter
1 tsp salt
4 egg yolks
2 whole eggs
1 tsp soda dissolved in a little water
1 cup milk
1 qt flour, sifted 3 or 4 times
2 tsp baking powder
1 Tb vanilla extract

Directions:
Directions:
Mix thoroughly all ingredients. Does not make a stiff batter. Roll and cut in round or fancy shapes. Sprinkle with sugar before baking. Do not grease pan. 375º ~10 minutes.
