2½ pounds flour
1¾ cup sugar
8 teaspoons baking powder
2 oz Anise Extract
10 eggs
1½ cup of hazel nuts or nuts of your choice (chopped)
1 cup oil
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350ºF and line your baking sheet with parchment paper.
Mix all dry ingredients in a very large bowl, combine flour, sugar, and baking powder
then add wet ingredients, make a pit in the dry ingredients and add the eggs, oil, and anise extract
mix all together until a soft slightly sticky dough forms, do not over mix!
If dough is a little to sticky you can add flour a little at a time. Finally add the nuts, form into small log shaped portions, or cook all dough at once and cut into desired shape when cookies are fully cooked and cooled.
