16 slices bread
5 eggs
3 c. milk
8 slices singles cheese slices
3/4 lb. sliced ham or 3/4 lb. cooked sausage
salt and pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Remove crusts of bread and butter both sides. Put in 13 x 9 pan. Then lay meat on bread, then cheese. Lay another slice of buttered bread on top. Beat eggs, milk, salt and pepper and some parsley flakes and pour over bread. Refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350º F for 1 hour. Let rest 20 minutes before cutting.

This has been a favorite with our son-in-laws Jim and Ted. It is especially handy when having a big gathering and you want to have the meal prepared ahead.
