1 1/2 lbs beef stew meat
3 tbsp tomato paste
garlic
onion
Sauce or Gravy Master
Parsley
Salt & Pepper
Carrots, peas, potatoes, turnips, string beans. Optional: Dumplings
Thyme
Olive Oil

Directions:
Directions:
Brown meat in the olive oil and then add the spices.
After meat is browned, add some water and add the veggies you want to use.
Keeping the fast cooking veggies (peas and string beans) until the very end.
Carrots, potatoes and turnips take longer.
Cook (or simmer like I did) for at least 2 1/2 hours.
Then add tomato's or tomato paste for flavor.

*If you want to add dumplings (instead of carrots and turnips), add on top of meat after it's browned. Then add the water, cover and simmer.
