3 lbs. ground beef
3 cups seasoned bread crumbs
2 onions, finely chopped
3 eggs
salt & pepper to taste

SPECIAL INGREDIENT: raisins

Directions:
WASH your hands. Put all of the ingredients (except the raisins)into a large bowl. Mix with hands until they are combined well. Form into golf ball sized meatballs.


SPECIAL INGREDIENT: Form the meatballs into an oval shape. With your thumb make an opening down the center of the meatball. Add 6-7 raisins and close over the raisins with the meat.



Place the meatballs on a cookie sheet and bake at 350º for 30-40 minutes.

Add the meatballs to tomato sauce and your family or guests with eat round plain meatballs or oval raisin meatballs (which will have a scrumptious sweet taste)

Grandma received special requests for her raisin meatballs whenever there was a family gathering or Sunday dinner. Everyone ate all the meatballs with raisins first.
