1 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
3 c. oatmeal & 1 large package of chocolate chips.

Mix shortening, sugar and brown sugar.
Add vanilla, eggs, flour, soda, salt and cinnamon and mix.
Add oatmeal and chocolate chips.
Dough should be stiff.
Bake at 350 for 12-15 minutes.
