Work together like piecrust
2 cups quick oatmeal
2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
3/4 cup butter or lard

Directions:
Directions:
Grind 1 cup raisins
and 1 cup nutmeats
Work all together
Dissolve 1 teaspoon soda in 3 tablespoons boiling water. Beat in two eggs and salt to taste.
Roll in ball size of walnut and bake.
