Granny's Chocolate Pecan Pie Recipe

1½ cup coarsely chopped pecans
¾ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
½ cup light corn syrup
½ cup sugar
2 large eggs
¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
9 inch unbaked pie shell

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven 325º degrees

Sprinkle pecans and chocolate chips over bottom of pie crust. In bowl mix syrup, sugar and eggs, stir in butter, pour over mixture in pie shell.

Bake 1 hour or until filling is set. Cool on wire rack.

Top with whipped cream if desired
