30oz can of sliced peaches (in HEAVY syrup)
1 box yellow cake mix (butter brickle or butter pecan preferred, but I don’t think they make them anymore)
1 stick of butter, melted
Optional: 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 350.
In a non-greased 9x13, pour can of peaches with the juice into pan. Using kitchen shears, roughly chop peaches into bite size pieces (this is optional, but I prefer it this way).
Sprinkle box of cake mix on top of peaches DO NOT STIR
Drizzle melted butter on top of cake mix DO NOT STIR

Bake for 45-55 minutes, sprinkling pecans halfway through baking, if desired.

I’ve frozen this recipe in single serving portions and it works great- prepare recipe as normal, and let cool completely. Carefully scoop (you want equal parts peaches + cake + juices) whatever size portions you want onto a square of tin foil. Fold each edge of the tin foil to wrap it up, trying to get as much air out as possible. Place folded tin foil square onto another square of tin foil to double wrap. Tin foil packet with peach cobbler should be flat & square shaped. Label & freeze.

When ready to eat, take from freezer & transfer to a bowl, microwaving in 30 second increments until hot all the way through.
