2 pounds lean ground beef 80/20 ground chuck works best

1/3 pound ground pork

1/3 cup A-1 sauce

¾ cup bread crumbs OR ground Quaker oats or any brand
(I use instant oats, or grind Old Fashion Oats just until fine)

2 large eggs

½ cup ketchup plus more for the top

4 green onions chopped (white and green parts)

2 garlic cloves finely chopped (I use a garlic press)

1 teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees

2. Add the eggs to a small mixing bowl, and mix slightly

3. Add remaining ingredients (except meat) to the bowl with eggs and mix until
incorporated

4. Add liquid to meat in a large bowl and mix together with your hands just until mixture starts to stick together

5. Place meat in greased loaf pan (or spray pan with Pam)

6. Spread the top with ketchup

7. Bake uncovered for 1 hour or until internal temperature is 160 degrees, according to meat thermometer. Can add more ketchup to top right before done for a thicker glaze if desired

8. Allow meatloaf to rest for about 5 to 10 minutes before slicing
