Ingredients:  
1 C oil
2 C white sugar
1/2 C molasses
2 eggs
4 t baking soda
4 C flour
1 t cloves
2 t cinnamon
1 t salt

Directions:
Directions:
Add all ingredients, in the order given, into mixing bowl.
Chill for 30 min.
Form into 1 1/2" or so balls. Roll in additional sugar.
Bake 11 min on greased cookie sheet at 350°

These are the cheapest, quickest and most delicious molasses cookies. This recipe used to be on the molasses jar. It evokes warm childhood memories of what mom used to bake.
