1 Pint Cream
1 1/2 Cups Sugar
1/4 C Flour
2 Tbsp Corn Starch
1/2 tsp Salt
1 Tbsp Vanilla
2 Tbsp Butter
Nutmeg or Cinnamon to dust

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar, flour, cornstarch, salt, and cream in a pan. Cook until slightly thickened. Add vanilla, pour into unbaked pie shell. Sprinkle with spice. Bake 10 min. at 375º and then 20-30 min. at 350º until slightly brown on top.

The Dutch Mill restaurant in Bluffton, IN was legendary for its Sugar Cream Pies. This is my grandmother's take on "Hoosier Pie".
