14 ½ oz evaporated milk
2 cups sugar
4 oz non-sweet chocolate
¼ cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
½ teaspoon salt

Heat the evaporate milk and sugar to a rolling boil. Stir constantly. Boil and stir 1 minute.

Add chocolate and beat over heat till smooth and melted. (if curdled, beat with whisk till smooth)

Remove from heat, add butter, vanilla and salt.

I like to store in a jar in refrigerator and heat small portions in microwave for ice cream sundaes. Last for about 10 days.
