1 pkg chocolate cake mix
2 3 1/2 oz pkgs chocolate, vanilla or butterscotch instant pudding mix
1 1/2 cups milk
1 16oz container frozen whipped topping, thawed
2 8oz pkgs bit 'o brickle bits

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray 2 8-inch cake pans (or you can divide batter into 3 pans). Prepare cake mix according to directions. Cool 30 minutes. In large bowl, combine pudding mix and milk. Mix 2 minutes. Place one cake in bottom of large serving bowl (trifle dish). Spoon 1/2 (or 1/3) of pudding mix on top of cake. Spread with 1/2 (or 1/3) of whipped topping and sprinkle 1 pkg (or 2/3 of pkg) of brickle bits. Repeat ending with whipped topping. Cover and chill overnight. Just before serving top with remaining pkg of brickle bits.
