2 sticks margarine
2 eggs
2 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. milk
2 Tbsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
3 1/2 c. flour

Bake at 375 degrees for 8 minutes. Divide dough. Make variety by adding one of the list of items.

1/2 c. nuts
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. coconut
1/2 c. chocolate or butterscotch chips.
