2/3 cup milk
1/2 tsp salt
1/3 cup warm water
2 cups flour
1 tbsp sugar
4 tbsp butter
1 pkg yeast

Directions:
Directions:
1. Scald milk and stir in sugar, salt and 1 tbsp butter
2. Cool to lukewarm
3. Melt rest of butter and set aside to cool
4. Measure warm water into bowl and sprinkle with yeast, stir until dissolved
5. Stir in lukewarm milk and flour
6. Beat until smooth and elastic, about 50 strokes
7. Brush top with melted butter
8. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled in bulk, about 25 minutes
9. Pour half the butter into a shallow pan
10. Stir batter down
11. Drop by large tbsp into pan and brush with remaining butter
12. Cover and let rise again for 25 minutes
13. Bake at 400º for 20 minutes or until done
