1½ cups softened butter
1 cup white sugar
1½ cups brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
4¼ cups flour
1 Tbsp corn starch
1½ tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
2 cups chocolate chips

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350º F.

Measure dry ingredients into a bowl. Whisk together and set aside.

With mixer, cream butter and sugars; add in eggs and vanilla. Mix until light and fluffy. Mix in dry ingredients ½ to 1 cup at a time, mixing after each addition until just combined. Mix chocolate chips in by hand.

Measure cookie dough with a large cookie scoop or rounded tablespoon onto cookie sheet, shaping into a ball as needed. Press with the back of a spoon to make a dimple in the middle of each cookie ball. Bake for 12-15 minutes on the center rack. Do not overbake. Let cool for 10 minutes on the baking sheet before removing to a cooling rack. Store in an airtight container.
