1 cup butter
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups all purpose flour
2½ cups large flake rolled oats (pulverized after measuring)
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup M & Ms
1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
1 cup dried cranberries
1 cup dried apricots (chopped)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat 375º F.
In a large stand mixer cream together butter and sugar for 2-3 minutes.
Add eggs one at a time, scraping down the bowl sides between additions.
Add vanilla and incorporate.
To pulverize oats measure 2½ cups oats and pulverize them in a food processor until fine flakes.
Mix pulverized oats, flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl.
Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients in two batches.
Add M &Ms, chocolate chips cranberries and apricots to dough and mix to just incorporate.
Place 12 balls of dough on a parchment paper covered cookie sheet.
bake for 10-12 minutes.
cool on cooking sheet for 5 minutes and transfer to cooling rack. These freeze well.
Can substitute additions as desired.
