Preheat oven to 350º (spray cookie sheets)

2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats (blend oats in food processor about 10 seconds, do not over ground them or they will not spread and create texture.)
2 cups flour
1 Tbsp. baking powder
½ tsp. baking soda
½ tsp. salt
2 tsp. cinnamon
½ tsp. ground nutmeg
1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
1 cup brown sugar
½ cup sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

For the glaze:
2 cups powdered sugar
3 Tbsp. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Mix oats, flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg together in a bowl.
Cream the butter and sugar in electric mixer. Add in eggs, one at a time, then add vanilla. Gradually add in the flour mixture until combined.
Roll dough into 2 Tbsp. size balls. spacing about 2 inches apart on cookie sheet.
Bake 10-12 minutes until the bottoms are brown.
Cool on baking sheets before moving to wire rack.

Glaze:
Mix powdered sugar and milk together in a medium bowl.
Quickly dip the tops of cookies into glaze and let excess drip off.
Put back on the wire rack and let the glaze set.
