1 ½ cups flour
½ teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon baking powder
½ cup margarine (1 stick) softened at room temperature
¾ cup white sugar
½ egg (2T)
½ tsp vanilla extract
Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F
2. Stir together flour, baking soda, and baking powder in a medium sized bowl with hand mixer or stand mixer
3. Cream butter and sugar until smooth in another bowl. Beat in egg and vanilla. Gradually blend in dry ingredients. Roll rounded teaspoons of dough into balls, and place onto ungreased cookie sheets.
4. Bake in the preheated oven until golden around the edges, 8-10 minutes. Let sit on cookie sheet for two minutes before removing.
