1 c. Flour (all purpose)
1/2 c. Butter or Margarine (I prefer Butter)
1 c. sugar
2 1/2 tsp. Baking Powder
3/4 c. Milk (whole or 2% is best)
1 Can your favorite fruit pie filling. (20 oz. can)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 350º
Place Butter in a 13"x 9" cake or casserole pan and put in the oven to melt.
While the butter is melting, Mix together the flour, Baking powder, Sugar, and Milk to a smooth batter consistency.
Remove pan with melted Butter from the oven and place on a level surface.
Pour the batter evenly over the melted Butter, DO NOT STIR.
Drop the Fruit pie filling by tablespoonfuls evenly over the batter, DO NOT STIR.
Bake for approximately 40 minutes or until the top is golden brown.

This is a great base recipe to play with.

For Apple or Peach I like to add another 1/4 cup to the butter and melt it to the point of browning and replace half the sugar with packed dark brown sugar and add 1 tbsp ground cinnamon into the batter.

For Blackberry or Blueberry I like to add a tbsp of lemon zest to the batter.
