Fresh Garlic
Red Onion
Extra Virgin olive oil
Flakey salt
A good quality balsamic vinegar

Uncle Lenny made wedges of the tomato, but when I lived in Italy they had me chop them into 3/8's inch chunks or about 10 MM

Again, 1/3 Vinegar, 2/3 Olive Oil in a bowl. Rip up some basil and leave some whole leafs for garnish
Add red onion, fresh medium chopped garlic, whisk pour over tomato's a lightly toss and cover, back in fridge for ½ hour. Longer and the olive oil will harden.

Serve over crust toasted bread brushed with cut garlic clove. You can also grind some fresh black pepper into the mix.
