Personal Notes:
These bars are sometimes called 7 layer bars, but our family knows them as magic bars. This is Rose's Mom's favorite dessert from her in-law's family Christmas. At first, her Mom (Amy Miller) refused to try the magic bars because of a general dislike of coconut. But when she finally did try them, she loved them and found the coconut was actually delicious with all the other ingredients. Amy submitted these bars to a competitive dessert competition at her work and won first place!
