1 cup peanut butter
1 cup granulated sugar or packed brown sugar
½ cup boiling water
2 cups Bisquick baking mix

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 400°F. Lightly grease or line baking sheets.
Mix peanut butter and sugar in a bowl.
Add boiling water and blend until smooth.
Stir in Bisquick until combined.
Drop dough by small teaspoonfuls onto a baking sheet.
Flatten with a floured fork or the bottom of a floured glass.
Bake for 8–10 minutes.
Cool briefly, then remove to rack.

Variations
Crunchy Peanut Cookies
Use chunky peanut butter instead of smooth.
Yield: About 6½ dozen cookies.

Double Peanut Cookies
Add 1 cup halved salted peanuts before adding Bisquick.
Yield: About 8 dozen cookies.

Orange Drops
Replace water with ½ cup orange juice.
Add 2 tsp grated orange zest.
Yield: About 6½ dozen cookies.

Chocolate Tea Wafers
Add 2 oz melted unsweetened chocolate and 1 tsp vanilla.
Bake at 375°F for 6–8 minutes.
Yield: About 8 dozen cookies.
