3/4 cups creamy or chunky peanut butter
1/2 cup butter flavor shortening
1 1/4 cups firmly packed brown sugar
3 tablespoons milk
1 tablespoon vanilla
1 large egg
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt

Heat oven to 375º F. Coat baking sheet with no-stick cooking spray. Beat peanut butter, shortening, brown sugar, mild and vanilla in large bowl with mixer on medium spped until blended. Beat in egg.

Stir flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl untill blended. Gradually add to creamed mixture, beating just until blended. Drop by rounded tablespoon 2 inches apart onto prepared baking sheet. Flatten slightly in a crisscross pattern unsing a fork.

Bake 7-8 minutes or until set and lightly browned. Cool 2 minutes on bakin sheet, Remove to wire rack to cool complelty.
