3 cups raisins
water
2 cups sugar
4 T flour
½ tsp. salt
4 egg yolks
1 T butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 baked pie shell

Directions:
Directions:
Put raisins in a medium sized kettle and cover with water to 1 inch above the raisins. Cook until the raisins are well done.
Mix into a paste: sugar, flour, salt and egg yolks. Add the paste mixture to raisins while cooking. Stir and cook until thick. Add 1 tsp. vanilla and 1 T butter. Mix well and pour into a baked pie shell.
