Mix makes 10 two crust 9-inch pies.
5 lbs. minus 2 c. all purpose flour
3 lbs. Crisco
3 Tablespoons salt
3 Tablespoons sugar (optional)

Directions:
Mix together until pea size balls are formed. Use a pastry blender, potato masher or your fingers. Store in a large airtight container.

To make a pie:
2 ½ cups pie crust mix (heaping cups), ¼ cup cold water with 1 tablespoon white vinegar mixed into it.
To prepare pie, measure 2 ½ cups pie mix into bowl. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon ice water/vinegar mixture at a time on pie crust mix, mixing together with a fork until the dough barely sticks to the sides of the bowl. Lightly press together to form a ball of dough. Do not knead dough. It will get tough. Divide into two to make either 1 two curst pie or 2 single crust pies.
